Christopher D. Sadala
Chris Sadala has served in a variety of roles as a consultant in the financial services industry. With 22 years of experience, including working with some of the world’s largest investment managers and custody banks, Chris has managed and contributed to strategic assessments, system evaluations, report development, data warehouse design, system implementations and custom programming.
Chris possesses a variety of skills that range from designing system architectures to understanding functional areas including portfolio management, order management, trading, reconciliation, investment accounting, corporate actions, performance measurement, attribution and data management. Chris’s technical experience includes extensive SQL programming, database administration, database design and systems analysis. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep working knowledge of major software packages including Eagle PACE, Eagle STAR and Markit EDM.
Major projects have included multiple Eagle PACE and STAR implementations, a strategic assessment and roadmap to implement a data governance program and designed and implemented a custom data warehouse for a Chicago-based asset management firm.
Prior to entering the asset management industry, Chris worked as a mechanical engineer at the Electric Boat shipyard analyzing piping systems for the SEAWOLF Class nuclear powered submarines. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and Master of Science Computer Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
When Chris is not working, he and his wife, Sherri, enjoy their 7 cats and dogs. They are avid sports fans and travel to see their favorite football, baseball and hockey teams wherever they might be playing. They may also be found at various venues attending concerts of their favorite bands. Chris is also a member of AMBUCS, a national charitable organization focused on providing mobility for disabled children and veterans.
