Timothy J. Knox
For more than 20 years, Timothy Knox has served the financial industry’s buy-side and brokerage firms as a driving partner in the creation and implementation of sophisticated data management and technology-based solutions.
Timothy began his career as a fund accountant with The Boston Company Advisors, then transitioned to Thomson Financial Services (ThomsonReuters) as global Head of Pre-sales. Timothy’s role with Thomson led him to Singapore where he was responsible for managing the Asia Pacific-Japan client services, account management, and professional services teams, growing his top line from $500,000 to $5,000,000, yearly.
Timothy joined Montgomery Asset Management as the Director of Re-engineering, responsible for implementing Charles River OMS, OASYS/OASYS Global/ALERT and SS&C Total Recon.
Transitioning to Thomson ESG/Omgeo as the Director of Professional Services and later as Executive Director, Global Product Management, he became Managing Director of Japan and was instrumental in developing relationships with the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Bank of Japan, the Japanese Depository, the Global Investment Manager Committee, and ISITC-Japan.
Timothy then worked with PerTracFinancial Services, helping the firm launch a fund of hedge funds portfolio management application and integrate the offering with PerTrac’sInvestor Relations Management and Analytics packages. His work at PerTracled to an 8 times increase in average deal value from the Fund of Funds segment.
Timothy received his degree in political science from the University of Arizona and currently resides in Fairfield, CT. Timothy is founder, treasurer and coach of the Fairfield Rugby Club and is also an avid also a cross-fit enthusiast.
