Daniel G. Foley

Daniel has over 19 years in the Financial Services industry during which he has gained an in-depth understanding of the business through multiple comprehensive roles at State Street Corporation. During his career he has acted as a Product Manager for Investment Analytics Information Delivery and Middle Office Outsourcing and also held positions within operations, management and product development across industry segments. These included Investment Performance Analytics for the Asset Owners and Asset Managers, product management for middle office outsourcing and new product development within State Street’s Global Services Division.

Dan’s wide ranging experience across Back Office, Middle Office, Investment Analytics as well as the supporting product and project functions give him a valuable end to end understanding of the investment process. During his tenure in State Street’s global product group, Dan was instrumental in the launch of a new Middle Office outsourcing service, performing functions such as project management, requirements gathering, documentation and standard operating model definition. Dan’s ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business models and concepts allowed for the timely conversion of legacy technology and process onto the strategic middle office platforms.

As a member of the Meradia team Dan has supported engagements on performance system evaluations and operational workflow, an Investment Performance implementation and a major Eagle Investment Systems fund accounting transition for a large investment management firm.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Northeastern University. Outside of work Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and three young girls, reckons himself a fairly skilled handyman around the house and loves cooking for his family and friends. He also enjoys volunteering his time to the Junior Achievement and Cradles to Crayons programs.
