Daniel C. Stout

Dan heads Meradia's consulting organization and is a long-time member of our management team. In addition to his oversight and direct client responsibilities, Dan helps establish vision and strategy, develops client relationships, and drives the company's efforts to accelerate growth. Dan is an industry veteran with 22 years of investment services and consulting experience. Since joining Meradia in 2001, Dan has led business strategy, middle-office, reporting and system implementation initiatives for our clients; ranging from multibillion-dollar investment organizations to emerging-growth companies. He has successfully led dozens of strategic engagements utilizing proven methodology, thoughtful leadership and an ability to drive consensus with diverse and large stakeholder groups. Dan has worked with a wide array of investment organizations, including Wealth Managers and Trust Companies, Global Asset Managers, Institutional Consultants, Asset Owners, and Asset Servicers. His in-depth knowledge of the technology options, data models, operational processes and the output qualities of a world-class investment operation help Dan stand apart from his peers. Dan is a recognized expert having authored multiple papers and spoken at industry events.


Dan began his career as a research analyst and was co-founder of Olympus Research Partners, an independent investment boutique providing investment research and recommendations to institutional investors. Dan attained strong financial, analytical, business and decision-making skills which he has been able to leverage throughout his career. He is especially skilled at determining meaning from masses of information, and then distilling it to discrete and actionable recommendations.

Dan holds a B.S. in Economics from LaSalle University where he was a Division I scholarship athlete and graduated with honors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at LLanerch Country Club and is the incoming Athletic Director at Saint Colman-John Neumann CYO. He enjoys playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his wife and their three daughters.
